While good men often mean well with their actions, they don’t exactly end up doing well themselves. Indeed, fiction’s chock-full with do-gooders and aspiring heroes who have the best intentions, even if a casual look at their actions most of the time triggers a realization that they’re full of wanton destruction and bloodshed, all wrapped neatly in a package of “I really don’t give a fuck lol” reminiscent of your local frat boy. Such is the case with the combatants of season 6’s penultimate episode, whose chaotic brands of justice can never truly seem to die:
Deadpool, Marvel’s masochistic Merc With A Mouth. The Mask, Dark Horse’s green-headed Freakshow Master. Finally fed up with the Regenerating Degenerate’s presence on their show, Wiz and Boomstick believe that they’ve finally found his match in the form of Mr. Big Head himself - a kindred spirit who also courts chaos, can seemingly never be killed and is overall an absolute fucking lunatic. These masters of madness enter are set to test just how crazy they can drive each other; which of these immoral immortals will soon finally bite the dust?
(Before we begin, we would like to thank Jim Carrey and Ryan Reynolds for being Jim Carrey and Ryan Reynolds. They’re national treasures.)
A Heads Up from Ya Bois
It’s Deadpool’s third time here. He’s a Marvel character. We’ve already done a blog about him before. Read it and give us presents. You know the drill with him. 616. Done.
As for the Mask, we’re compositing him to get the clearest possible picture with his powers and such. The original comics are going to take precedence, but we’ll also be taking a look at the 1994 Jim Carrey movie and the 1995 cartoon. As for a host, the blog’s going to primarily focus on Stanley Ipkiss, the first wearer of the Mask in the comics and the main protagonist of the character’s non-comic appearances. That said, the Mask’s powers remain consistent among his other hosts, so feats and scaling for them should work for the most part.
Background
Deadpool
After being discharged from the United States military due to behavioral problems, wanton wisecracker Wade Winston Wilson adopted the life of a humble freelance contract killer, traveling the world and ending lives to earn his next paycheck. Despite his irritating attitude and quick mouth, few could contest that he was one of the best in the business, noted for his masterful skills in both close-quarters and ranged combat. Life seemed to be going smoothly for him even further when he fell in love with a young prostitute named Vanessa, but reality soon came knocking; upon learning that he was diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer, Wade broke up with her to spare her the trouble of watching him die, and returned home to Canada.
While awaiting his incoming death, Wade was approached by several mysterious agents who offered to cure his cancer in exchange for his participation in a few experiments through the top-secret Department K, and he accepted. Through this agreement, he had unknowingly volunteered himself into Weapon X, a joint effort between the Canadian and American governments designed to breed the finest assassins and super-soldiers in the world. The various tests and experiments were done on his body triggered Wade’s latent mutant powers; he had come to possess a healing factor that had made him all but unkillable, but the continued presence of his cancer and the torture done to him had taken a heavy toll on his sanity.
Eventually, Wade escaped the facility with his fellow prisoners and adopted the handle “Deadpool”, taken after the betting pool guards would play on to guess the survivability of Weapon X’s test subjects. The activation of his mutant abilities in addition to a variety of out-of-this-world weaponry and the retention of his skills as one of the most elite killers in the universe have made him a sought after wildcard asset who can do battle with heroes and villains alike, and while he has done a lot of heinous and disgusting actions in the name of money, Deadpool is ultimately driven by a desire to right by others, albeit in his own twisted way, making him one of the most unlikely and unorthodox costumed crime fighters on Earth.
The Mask
From the darkest reaches of history, tales and legends arose of a wooden mask that was said to be imbued whoever wore it with reality-warping powers. The actual accounts vary depending on the source: one story claims that this mask was created by an African tribe using ancient techniques that are now lost to history, another points to it as the creation of the Norse god of mischief, Loki, who sent it down to the human realm as a way to cause chaos from whoever wore it, and one other account even states it to be an instrumental weapon used by Attlla the Hun in his conquest of Eastern Europe. Whatever the case may be, this mask eventually found its way into the hands of a shy and unassuming bank teller from Edge City, Stanley Ipkiss.
Despite his seemingly inoffensive appearance and good-natured attitude, Stanley had a wilder side of his personality that never had the chance to come out until he happened upon the mask. By donning it, he was transformed by its powers; now adorning a freakish green visage, he came to possess cartoonishly amazing abilities that defied the rules of reality itself. Not only that, but the mask had finally allowed Stanley’s repressed inner self to run rampant, making him a chaotic force of nature fueled entirely by his id rather than reason. In due time, Edge City found itself finally becoming aware of their new psyched-up resident as an absolute wildcard simply known to the public as the Mask, and there was no going back from that point onwards.
Stanley’s fate varies here depending on which continuity we follow. In the comics, the mask’s corrupting influence drives him into becoming a sociopathic monster with no regard for anyone other than himself, which leads to his death and the mask finding its way to other hosts throughout the city. In the movie and comics that have adapted him into a more noble character, Stanley learns to use his new alter-ego as a force for good, and although the Mask remains as insane as ever, he too is ultimately driven to do the right thing when the situation calls for it and fights crime throughout Edge City, whether it may be against the city’s mob families or villains who covet his powers for themselves, all while exuding a style unrivaled by no other being alive.
Equipment
Deadpool
Deadpool’s Suit
A tactical red and black bodysuit with weapon straps and pouches for all of Deadpool’s gear, which does afford some level of protection against light damage.
Melee Weapons
Deadpool’s signature weapons are a pair of katanas adorned with his image. These custom-made blades are made from nano-ceramic fiber composite materials and can be enhanced with an energy field to cut through tougher substances like a diamond, Spider-Man’s webs, and the Hulk’s skin. Other katanas in his arsenal are usually made of high-quality steel, and he has even used carbon fiber against Magneto to bypass his metal manipulation abilities.
Besides that, he’s also accustomed to using other melee weapons, often done in pairs as well. These include sai, sledgehammers, nunchaku, shuriken, throwing knives and bolas, among others.
Firearms
For the most part, Deadpool dual-wields many of his normal firearms in the same way he does with his close-quarters weapons. In most portrayals of the character, his signature guns tend to be either dual pistols or submachine guns, but he has experience wielding two-handed weapons like shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and heavy machine guns if ever he gets his hands on them. This extends to his use of explosives; on his person, Deadpool has various grenade types ranging from normal frag grenades to flashbangs and white phosphorus, and he’s never too far away to use a rocket launcher for maximum damage
Teleporter
Deadpool’s used a variety of different teleportation devices over the years, some of them good some of them… uhhh…
Generally speaking, they allow him to teleport mid-ranged distances, but the issue...
Yeah, that. Moving on.
Specialized Weapons
This section pertains to weapons that aren’t part of Deadpool’s default arsenal but are of note enough to bring into consideration into his battle here. The keyword is “consideration”; we’re not totally 100% sure which of these are going to be counted if any at all.
- Carbonadium Katanas: Wielded by “Dreadpool”, an alternate incarnation of Deadpool who managed to successfully kill nearly every single hero and villain in his universe and attempted to kill off other Deadpools throughout the multiverse. The 616 Deadpool was able to put an end to his killing spree and took the katanas for himself. These customized swords are made of an Adamantium knock-off created by the Soviet Union to compete with the West, and while it is by no means as indestructible to the same degree, it remains a highly durable material that can shut down any healing factor.
- Dubstep Cannon: A portable speaker that blasts weaponized quantities of everyone’s favorite musical trend from the early 2010s. Thanks, Skrillex. Anyway, as a reference point to how loud the music is, Deadpool used it to abuse the Carnage symbiote’s weakness to loud noises enough, exposing its host Cletus Kassady completely.
- Matter Disintegrator: Used to take on hard-to-kill beings like vampires, and by Deadpool’s own admission, anything hit by a blast from this does not tend to survive.
The Mask
Various Created Weapons
Hard to really cap a limit on these, given all weapons are instantly made by the Mask according to the user’s extremely detailed specifications, which includes various firearms though he has his personal favorites.
Guns/Ranged Weapons
- Gatling Guns: He can create hand-held Gatling guns that are capable of shattering rock
- Ray-Gun/Shot-Gun: While fighting Batman in a crossover event, Mask-Joker was able to create a gun capable of damaging buildings.
- Tommy Gun Balloon: One of his favorites, he can very easily transform a Balloon made for children into a Tommy Gun at will.
- Flamethrower: While attacking a bunch of police officers, he pulled out a flamethrower and started to burn them to death.
- Slingshot: While dressing up as Robin Hood, he fired a slingshot that’s ammo ricochet of multiple people.
Bombs
- Cigarette Bomb: He turned into a bomb to blow a man apart
- Head Bomb: He can transform his own head into a Bomb, allowing it to explode.
- Giant Bomb: He can create giant bombs in order to create massive explosions.
and melee weapons, of all sorts of normal or batshit crazy kinds. Not much point in listing them since there have been so many different weapons due to the extreme creativity put into their functions and designs.
The Mask
As in the actual physical item itself.
Regardless of whatever origin story you follow, it doesn’t really change what this object is at its core: a wooden mask that transforms its wearer into their Mask persona - their heads were completely covered in a green skin-like material along with a change in their clothes. When not worn, the mask remains a harmless piece of wood, as its powers can only be unleashed with the aid of a proper host.
Also, while the mask is being worn, it is impossible to separate it and the host through brute force. The transformation can only be undone when the host willingly chooses to take the mask off
Abilities
Deadpool
Mutant Regeneration
Deadpool’s mutant powers are derived from those of his fellow Weapon X compatriot Wolverine in that he possesses a healing factor that allows him to regenerate from almost any form of damage. Because of how his healing factor interacts with his cancer, its effectiveness and speed surpasses that of the one owned by the X-Man; Deadpool can survive losing limbs and being decapitated by attaching lost body parts together again, and can even regrow them in certain situations, such as when he is reduced to a pile of liquid.
This healing factor has also made his body resistant to disease, intoxication, drugs, and poison, requiring extremely large doses to so much as be remotely effective on him. Because of this, it contributes to Deadpool’s high tolerance for pain, easily allowing him to take on weaker attacks without reacting to them. It has also made it difficult for telepaths to read his mind or attack him with their psychic powers, as well as external spiritual forces to try and possess his body, since his mind and body attempt to resist them, often with a degree of success on his part.
Combat Training
Before Weapon X, Wade served in both the US Marine Corps and the CIA, undergoing some of the more strenuous military training programs in the world. It worked wonders, as upon his “rebirth” as Deadpool, he easily staked his claim as one of the most well-rounded combatants in the Marvel universe to date. He has mastered various unarmed martial arts including Karate, Savate, Ninjutsu and more, and is an instant expert with any weapon he picks up, ranging from katanas, shuriken, handguns, grenades, rocket launchers, bolas, assault rifles and more.
Through his various adventures and missions, Deadpool has repeatedly triumphed over other special forces outfits, and even other heroes and villains with extensive martial arts and military training, including Wolverine, Captain America and Spider-Man. Much of this is actually owed to his insanity, which contributes to his unpredictable fighting style; even the likes of Taskmaster - whose main power set comes from his ability to predict his opponents’ attacks based on their movements - has extreme difficulty in trying to keep pace with Deadpool in various encounters.
Despite his unpredictability and his tendency to wing it, Deadpool’s training and vast resources have allowed him to take on foes beyond his pay grade with proper planning, unique equipment, and various countermeasures to tactics his opponents may spring on him.
Fourth Wall Awareness
Probably the only thing that comes to mind for anyone with even a casual passing amount of knowledge on him, and yes, we did point this out last time.
For reasons nobody in the Marvel universe can comprehend, Deadpool is aware that he is a fictional character, and will make jabs through the fourth wall regardless of whatever medium he is in at the moment. This was explained in Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars; when Deadpool interrupted the Beyonder’s attempt to steal his power back from Doctor Doom, he was transported to the Foundation of Reality, which granted him his fourth-wall awareness.
While often just a way to get a pop and a laugh, for the most part, he has managed to weaponize this on occasion: he has read the past comics of other Marvel heroes, interacted with his editors, travelled back in time to talk to himself through older issues, and is also responsible for the best Hyper Combo in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - do not @ us.
The Mask
Mask "Toonforce"
The Mask operates on literal toonforce logic to make his reality-warping abilities happen. For those unaware of the term, “toonforce” explains every single old-timey cartoon phenomenon known to man, like those seen in early Tex Avery or Looney Tunes skits. He has several abilities he can do with his Toon-Force, such as:
Item Creation
He can create anything out of thin air, whether it may be mundane everyday items or comically exaggerated weapons that have no business being as over-the-top as they are
These are just some of the examples that we have found throughout the series that he can create out of thin air such as:
- A broom that gives him flight
- A monster truck that can crush several cars
- A submarine, which he then fires himself out of it
- A pair of rollerblades and a couple of dogs to pull him^SD
- A flying saucer
- A tank
- A jet pack
- A massive magnet
- In the Crossover with the Joker, The Mask was able to create a chainsaw that can cut an entire building in half.
- A giant mechanical monstrosity with him as a fetus… okay
And this is a tiny fraction of what he changes. He’s like Maxwell from Scribblenauts in that he can transform into literally anything that he thinks of.
Transformation Abilities
He is able to alter his appearance on a whim and turn anything he touches into other items, like transforming a balloon into a Tommy gun, or cigarettes into makeshift grenades
Toon-Force Invulnerability
Also, given the analogy to old school cartoons, the Mask seemingly cannot be harmed at all. While he may overdramatically react to being hurt, like flattening himself on the ground after a fall or playing dead if shot, nothing can leave any sort of lasting damage on his person. What makes this even more potent is that the Mask’s powers are always in effect if the host wears it; for all intents and purposes, this potentially renders him immortal if the mask is never taken off.
Fourth Wall Awareness
As with his opponent, the Mask also seems to be aware of his nature as a fictional character. He makes frequent attempts to interact with the audience by initiating dialogue, making references to the fourth wall, and other bits of tomfoolery that highlight his wacky nature.

Weaknesses
Deadpool
Deadpool’s insanity is something of a double-edged sword, as while his unpredictable fighting style makes him hard to counter, he also has a habit of not thinking too far ahead. His regeneration has also added on to this; oftentimes, his near-immortality makes him careless and prone to mistakes due to his own hubris.
The healing factor in and of itself is by no means a perfect option in staying alive, either. Sure, it has made trying to kill Deadpool permanently almost an impossibility, but he can still be incapacitated in various ways, like being knocked out or having his body parts liquified or separated entirely, as he needs time to regenerate from these kinds of serious injuries.
The Mask
The Mask’s powers can only come into effect if his host is wearing the physical mask itself. Separately, the mask is harmless while the host reverts back to being a normal human. Various incarnations of the Mask have fallen prey to this tactic, where they are tricked into removing it and are subsequently beaten up or killed; Stanley himself met his end in the comics this way.
This ties into the Mask’s extreme hubris; his psychotic impulses often have him making decisions with no forethought, and he often acts carelessly in a fight due to most of his normal opponents lacking any means to truly kill him for good. Even despite his inability to die, those who can surpass him in raw physical prowess, like Walter, can grant him a measure of trouble.
Also, the comics and movie incarnations are unable to come out during the day, although the cartoons are not subject to this restriction.
Also, also, Son of the Mask exists. Burn every copy you come across.

Grand Blazer
Ayyy im back here again. Did the Mask research on this one, so hope you guys like the full episode when it releases. Swan did a sicko job imo. Also just wanted to say that both Deadpool and The Mask are bad bad unfunny men and Bugs Bunny comes in to kill both of them and their graves double as his burrow cuz he has them pinned up to his wall. Don’t let Ben know I spoiled it though.
Ramen
Despite the presence of Memepool in our midst, I’ve to admit that this does take me back to a much simpler time. Deadpool VS Pinkie Pie was the first ever episode I’ve had the chance to work on, and despite that fight… uhh, “existing”, I’m still grateful to it for helping me understand VS a bit more and hang around with some good people before the old Screwattack forums got snapped out of existence. Getting most of the work done for that ep before finals wrapped up and I headed out to Manila was pretty fun… and now I’ve made myself sad because Christmas 2016 is full of sentimental bullshit I’m contractually bound to be melancholic about.
So, yeah. No better way to celebrate my recently purchased airplane ticket back to the Philippines than with Deadpool again. This probably triggers a PTSD deep within me somewhere. That said, the match is fun, I still like the ‘Pool a bunch and seeing the Mask is such a fucking throwback to all the Cartoon Network I watched as a kid as well as Jim Carrey’s entire existence. (Anyone who thinks otherwise of Mr. Carrey has no soul. He’s a saint.)
This match is a bit like Ghost Rider VS Lobo albeit on a much lower power scale, and bringing up the latter in comparison to both Deadpool and the Mask seems pretty appropriate and all given their shared wacky bullshit and more specifically, their ability to just refuse to die. Deadpool’s healing factor and the Mask’s toonforce tomfoolery ensure that it’ll be difficult as all hell for either to try and off the other for good, and considering that they’re nearly equals in terms of stats or at least within the same ballpark enough that a massive statstomp is out of the question, trying to hazard a guess for the victor here is a tricky predicament.
Also, while we’re still talking about the Main Man, I sort of doubt that they’ll have the Mask scale to him; ditto for any other Mask crossovers. I single out Lobo specifically because in their crossover, stuff happens which would allow the Mask to hit Solar System-level shenanigans - that’d be more than enough to wipe Deadpool off the face of the Earth without breaking a sweat, but at the same time, the Mask has never shown that level of power in any other storyline he has been in, crossover or not, so for the sake of consistency with how the character has been mostly portrayed, I’m considering it an outlier.
Anyway, party time!
So as I’ve said above, the stat difference isn’t really that big enough we’d be getting an outright stomp from either side. The Mask should take the trinity regardless given that we’re compositing him; last time I checked, Deadpool’s never had to fly up to a falling meteor in a matter of seconds or eat a pile of dynamite without being reduced to shreds, so there’s that. Now granted, he has experience fighting foes roughly on the Mask’s paygrade (power-wise anyway, none of the toonforce stuff applies) so that could help him out a bit.
I say “a bit” because just right off from the gate, DP’s ill-equipped to win this. Even if we did give him some of the one-off weapons we’ve listed above, the Mask’s too versatile to outgun thanks to literally being able to create anything he wants out of nowhere, and more importantly, he's the harder to truly kill off of the two. Deadpool’s survived his fair share of ridiculous things in the past, but comparing his healing factor to the Mask regenerating from his own ashes in mere seconds is night and day. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Mask just kept on hitting him with stuff until there was nothing left of the man at all. Sure, he’s probably got a shot by outlasting the Mask until dawn, but that’s iffy, or even using his disintegrator or carbonadium swords to try and gain an upper hand, but seeing as there’s no actual scientific basis for why the Mask can survive whatever the fuck you throw at him, I don’t see them being too effective.
Oh and yeah, DP -- good luck trying to trick Jim Carrey into removing the one thing that makes him win this fight. It is a legitimate strategy to be fair, as previous Mask hosts were killed or beaten because they took it off, but while Deadpool’s an annoying asshole, so is the Mask.
Ultimately, I’m thinking that ol’ Wade might’ve finally met his match and more, but hey, least he can finally bone Death. Going with the Mask here.

Gonna make this a bit short but this is a really fun matchup and I’m really looking forward to this episode especially after seeing the preview for the fight! Anyway verdict
This fight really depends on what you use for The Mask, if you stick to just the comics Deadpool has a good enough stat advantage that you could maybe argue he can win by surviving until daytime. If you use the Mask cartoon however...yeah the tables are turned drastically given that the show is chocked full of city level and relativistic feats. This coupled with Mask’s sheer batshit insane arsenal and powers is more than enough to overwhelm Deadpool.
It also doesn’t help Wade that Big Head’s regen is just fucking absurd, Deadpool’s regen is good sure but he hasn’t regenerated from being reduced to ashes in seconds like the Mask has. Even if The Mask somehow couldn’t kill Deadpool for good he could still just incapacitate him by turning him into a puddle or just BFR him. Sure Wade might be the more skilled and experienced fighter but it hardly matters when he’s just so outclassed.
Overall Mask’s ridiculous stats, powers, and arsenal will just be too much for Deadpool to handle. In the end I believe the Merc with a Mouth will finally meet his end
Looking forward to the full episode and the season finale!
Mal
Deadpool vs The Mask…… I will freely admit at first I wasn't sure about this matchup but the more I thought about it, the more it made a lot of sense to do this as a matchup and to cap up Deadpool Trilogy of DEATH BATTLEs. I may not be the biggest fan of Takahata’s Deadpool in the world but the animation looked great from the preview and I am looking forward to seeing how crazy and weird it gets as a DEATH BATTLE. With that out of the way, let's talk about this fight.
This fight is rather difficult in many ways - mostly due to the fact that both of these combatants are extremely unkillable to an absurd level. Both can regenerate from being disintegrated into literal ash and yet still regeneration and be fine a moment later. Both have Toon Force to a wacky degree being able to pull weapons out of nowhere and both have cosmic awareness of the fourth wall and will shape the rules in their favor. How can you even determine who wins in this fight when these characters are so out there and wacky?
Well, this is a very hard matchup in order to determine the outcome of but I do think it’s possible to find a winner for this matchup to determine I do think a winner can be determined in this matchup. Keep in mind I will be compositing across all versions (though crossovers may be a bit difficult due to a certain Lobo/Mask Crossover so I will try to keep that crossover to a minimum).
When it comes to strength, The Mask in the comics should be at the very least City Block Level for a very obvious reason. When the Mask was worn by General Blue, he was able to push buildings into each other which is used in order to crush someone. This feat which you can see the calculation here has come to around City Block Level. In terms of Deadpool’s Destructive Potential. Sadly there are not many Destructive Capability feats for Deadpool but we do know that his guns are easily able to destroy buildings and he has fought and beaten Spider-Man who was able to catch the entire Daily Bugle which came to Large Building Feat and since Deadpool definitely scales to him, he should be around Large Building Level.
So taking a look at the comics, The Mask should be stronger though this could change as VSBW changes their thoughts and opinions on Marvel Street Levelers at times so this could easily change.
Now let’s talk a look at Speed. The Mask’s greatest speed feat in the comics is dodging a Shotgun Blast at a very close range and he did it casually. When it comes to what dodging bullets does in terms of speed - it usually comes out to around Supersonic + so The Mask should be at the same speed. In terms of Deadpool, since he scales to Spider-Man in combat that destroyed a stone slab in a microsecond and his most impressive speed feat is dodging Electro's lightning. Considering that lighting travels at Massively Hypersonic Speed, it is safe to say that Electro’s Lighting Based Attacks would move at Massively Hypersonic Speeds so. Spider-Man dodging Electro’s attacks would put him at Massively Hypersonic and considering that Deadpool has matched Spider-Man’s speed in combat, it’s fairly safe to put him at the Massively Hypersonic Range. So if we are talking just the comic books then the Mask loses to Deadpool in terms of speed….buuuut if we include Cartoon feats then the Mask has the edge over Deadpool. While in the cartoon, The Mask flew to a meteor and back in a few seconds which has been described as Sub-Relativistic Speeds as flying to a meteor coming from outer space in a few seconds has been described to be Sub-Relativistic Speeds. It is also consistent as he threw a grappling hook into the moon in a few seconds. So in terms of speeds, Deadpool wins if it’s just the comics but if the cartoon and movie are taken into account then it’s likely The Mask wins in Speed.
Finally, there’s durability and both have extremely impressive durability feats with both being hit by guns, missiles, explosives, being crushed, being stabbed, having buildings collapsed on top of them, etc (if you want more details you can look at the Durability Feats). So which one has the more impressive Durability feats. Since we are going composite, The Mask in the cartoon was able to - The Mask "drank" 2 megatons worth of TNT as well as devoured a whole city busting nuke. And also "absorbed" a whole city busting nuke. This should put Mask’s Durability around City Level at the very least. In terms of Deadpool. He has survived getting an entire building collapsed on top of him which is definitely a Large Building Level Durability Feat. and survived as well as tanked punches from Spider-Man and Captain America. Spider-Man as shown earlier was able to keep up an entire building from collapsing. As such it’s pretty safe to say that Deadpool as Large Building Level Durability but his regeneration makes him very difficult to kill.
So in terms of feats, The Mask has the edge when it comes to Strength and Durability but Deadpool has a Massive Edge in Speed when it comes to the comics but The Mask wins all three when taking the cartoon into account but ultimately while Stats are indeed important, that is not what was going to decide this fight. When it comes down to this fight, it ultimately comes down to if with their insane regeneration - can they even kill each other?
Deadpool and the Mask are two characters that are nearly impossible in order to put down for good - both can regenerate from almost anything. In terms of ways that Deadpool could use to put down the mask, he does have the Matter Disrupter Gun that is able to disrupting matter on a molecular level destroying almost anything that it comes across. However, The Mask should be able to regenerate from that - even if Deadpool tries killing every last piece of The Mask. He will still likely regenerate. Plus The Mask’s vast arsenal is almost limitless - even more so than Deadpool, he can transform anything into anything else. He can turn balloons into tommy guns, he can create jetpacks with a thought. He can make a sphinx statue active with just a thought. Ultimately this fight comes down to if Deadpool can put the Mask down for good and even with the Matter Disruptor Gun. I think the answer is no. The Mask’s bat shit insane weaponry, transformation abilities, and just absurd regeneration are more than enough to prevent Deadpool from putting him down to good and it’s not like Deadpool can simply remove the mask since it can’t be removed unless the user chooses to. Ultimately Deadpool despite his regeneration doesn’t have the tools to put down the Mask for good and even with his more effective way of putting down the Mask for good, it’s not going to be enough before the Mask finishes him,
Overall, The Mask’s Insane Toon Force, Regeneration, Arsenal, and Stats if you take the cartoons and the crossovers are simply too strong for the Deadpool. Looks like Deadpool is going to feel SMOOOKIN!!
