Death Battle Predictions: Boba Fett vs Predator

“Hunting is not a blood sport. It is a sport that is in my blood.”

-Kraim Art

Boba Fett, the famous bounty-hunting Mandalorian from Star Wars.

Predator, the eponymous Yautja alien with a penchant for bloody combat.

In this world, there are the prey and there are the predators. Many things motivate the will to hunt living beings; sustenance, money, or just plain fun. For today’s combatants, tracking and attacking isn’t just a pastime, it’s rooted into their very cultures. Whether they do what they do for a quick buck or for the thrill of the hunt, these two masked hunters are so proficient that their names spread fear across the galaxy. Get ready for the most dangerous game as these space-bound killers from warrior clans stalk each other. Will the very first combatant on the show redeem himself with a big payday and the respect of the Yautja, or shall the dreaded menace add yet another skull to its collection? It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!

Before We Get Started…

The source material for Boba Fett will be pretty much the same as recent Star Wars battles. In other words, analyzing the Disney canon with the extended universe and its related media as supporting material.

The Predator, however, is technically not a character, but the title meant for various members of the Yautja race. There are several Predators within the movies, books, comics, and games, which are all fair play here, each with their own skills, abilities, and personalities. As such, we will be analyzing the Predator as sort of a general composite similar to how the Death Battle research team are doing it, essentially using an “apex” Predator that has an amalgamation of attributes…

…but like the DB research team, we’re not using the time one fought Superman, though…

…or when a group of them took on the Justice League of America…

…or when… I think y’all get it.

Background

Boba Fett

“I’m just a simple man making his way through the galaxy. Like my father before me.”

What is more important than a legacy? Leaving behind something to tell a tale of your achievements and to carry on your story for generations to come. Such a thing is highly valuable to the people of Mandalore. Less so a specific race and more a creed of warrior people, Mandalorians are known to have shaped galactic history, to an extent comparable to that of the Jedi and Sith, yet none were as famous, and infamous, as Jango Fett and his scion.

A bounty hunter in a time when such a profession was extremely common in the waning days of the Galactic Republic, Jango found himself hired by ex-Jedi and political activist Count Dooku, and the strange, almost robotic Kaminoans to be the template for a Clone army, one of size and scope never seen in history. Unconcerned with the purpose of such an army, Jango simply did his job and took the money. He only asked for one thing in return. A perfect clone of himself, his genetics untouched and unchanged, to raise as a son and his protege. Thus came into the world: Boba Fett.

Young Boba would be trained by Jango, taking him on missions and the like. He would learn practically every basic thing there was about Mandalorian culture and the art of bounty hunting from his father. Yet their time together had been cut short, as war was on the horizon. Wrapped up in assassinations, and the Jedi discovering the Clone Army, Jango fled from Kamino with his son to Count Dooku’s holdout on Geonosis. It was there that Jango would be slain by the Jedi Master Mace Windu, and Boba, now an orphan, would watch in horror as Sam L. Motherfuckin’ Jackson relieved his father of his head.

Swearing vengeance, young Boba would try time and time again to kill Windu for what he had done, getting wrapped up in the affairs of bounty hunters, pirates and even the great Hutt Clans. Nothing worked, until, in a strange way, Boba would have his revenge taken from him from the unlikeliest of places. The Grand Army of the Republic, the Clones who were, in a way, Boba’s brothers, would turn against the Jedi Order, killing every single Jedi and ending the war.

Thrust into a new Galactic Empire, the need for bounty hunting skyrocketed, and Boba became legendary in the criminal underworld for his skills. For him, everything was going swimmingly, business was absolutely booming. It wasn’t long until his exploits reached the ears of Darth Vader, who hired him for a very special job. Capture and bring in the Rebels aboard the Millennium Falcon. No disintegrations. Boba would pass with flying colors, though they would eventually escape, though Captain Han Solo would be Boba’s prisoner to bring to Jabba the Hutt. Jabba, in his graciousness, rewarded Fett for his efforts, though it would be for naught as Solo’s Rebel friends would come to his aid, and Boba would fall into the toothy maw of the Sarlacc. Through his ingenuity, he would blow himself free of the Sarlacc’s many stomachs with thermal detonators. Though his story differs from each retelling, both legends hold true that Boba Fett emerged a changed man, wishing to make amends for his past actions. He would leave a legacy not of a ruthless man who killed and took what he wanted, but as a respected warrior who honors both his father’s legacy, and the Mandalorian people.

Predator

"She says the jungle... It just came alive and took him."

Countless ages ago, a race of insectoid aliens called the Amengi stripped their home planet of all of its resources. To fuel their society they took to the stars, plundering entire planets and enslaving their native people. The simple tribal inhabitants of one humid world, the Hish-qu-Ten, were once just another of the Amengi’s conquests… but in time, they would become even more feared across the galaxy than the Amengi ever were.

The Amengi used their Hish slaves not just for forced labor, but for entertainment. Some were chemically-enhanced, trained to fight in arenas or hunt one another down for the amusement of their captors. Mutating their enslaved gladiators into superpowered killing machines was maybe not the smartest of ideas. One such slave, a respected and highly intelligent Hish named Kaail, would grow resentful of the species that had reduced his brethren to chattel. Faking loyalty, Kaail dedicated himself to overthrowing the Amengi, and amassed a following of like-minded slaves. When the time came, the unified Hish struck against their oppressors in a glorious and bloody planet-wide revolution.

Though the Amengi were impossibly more advanced than the Hish, their luxurious, effort-free existences led to them growing arrogant and soft. Overwhelmed by the rebels, the Amengi were slaughtered en masse. The victorious Hish not only enslaved the remaining Amengi as retribution for their centuries of humiliation, but took their futuristic technology for their own. This sudden leap in technology was one that would take most species millenia; the Hish never truly had to outgrow their tribal and ritualistic ways to get to that point, leading to the primitive yet futuristic aesthetic of their later innovations.

As thousands of years passed and their society developed, the Hish evolved with it, eventually becoming known as the Yautja. Taller and even more intelligent than their precursors, the foundation of Yautja society is the Hunt. Young Yautja are all expected to become hunters when they’re older; a Yautja’s social class is decided by their hunting prowess; failing a Hunt is the greatest dishonor, one only amendable by suicide. The Hunt is a spiritual, religious trial to a Yautja. Failing to stick to the strict Honor Code is a violation punishable by excommunication or extermination.

This isn’t hunting as in driving up to the woods and shooting some deer; Yautja will literally cross entire solar systems just to locate prey that they find honorable enough. Some Yautja even keep planets just to use as game preserves. One of their favorite targets is an acid-blooded species of endoparasitoid with mysterious origins - you might know them as the Xenomorphs. The Yautja love hunting these things so much they seed planets with their eggs just to kill them when they’re all grown up.

While the Yautja treat the whole galaxy as their hunting ground, there is a particular planet they can’t seem to stay away from: Earth. The Yautja have interacted with humans since the dawn of their society - the pyramids of the Ancient Egyptians and Aztecs were in fact their design, taken straight from the architecture of their home planet. In more modern times, the Yautja have continued their activity on Earth, with humans being another favorite game of theirs. From the humans they’ve encountered the Yautja have gained yet another new title: Predators.

Equipment

Boba Fett

Mandalorian Armor

Boba inherited the modified Mandalorian armor from his father Jango after his death. Forged in Beskar (Duraplast in Legends, though he would later gain a set of Beskar armor), a metal durable enough to shrug off blaster shots and even repel lightsaber strikes, Boba’s armor is essentially a swiss army knife containing nearly every damn thing in the galaxy you’d need for bounty hunting. This includes a display in the gauntlets that was connected to Imperial Enforcement DataCore to help Boba locate bounties, a chain code in the left gauntlet containing information about the armor’s owners, as well as a retractable wrist blade in the right gauntlet.

As bounty hunting also tends to lead individuals into the cruelest environments the galaxy has to offer, it’s also helpful that Fett wears a power armor liner that gives him a micro energy field that not only helps protect from fire, acid or intense heat and cold, but also disperses physical and blast impacts ensuring that knocking him down will be extremely difficult.

Helmet

Boba’s helmet includes a multitude of features such as the ability to record video, compensate automatically for low or high light conditions, as well as pick up on and amplify sounds. The helmet also had several ways of protecting Fett depending on his current environment like sealing itself to compensate for pressure changes, dispensing water, and filtering out poisons or other contaminants with its environmental filter system, providing Boba a two-hour oxygen reserve.

The helmet’s antenna could intercept and unscramble commlink transmissions as well as send its own fake transmissions, should he need to he can also summon his ship from up to 90 kilometers away. The top of the antenna also had a targeting rangefinder that’s capable of tracking 30 targets at once from a distance of 100 meters, this rangefinder sent data to a display overlay inside the helmet giving Boba the range and movement of targets in a 360 degree radius, as well as allow him to target weak points and see in infrared vision.

The iconic t-shaped visor even includes an infrared scanner which along with all of the helmet’s other features ensures there will be no escape for the poor soul that happens to be his target.

ZX Miniature Flame Projector

A weapon used by many Mandalorians and Bounty Hunters across Star Wars, Fett carries a flamethrower in his left gauntlet. Connected to the fuel tank in his jet pack giving it enough fuel for 3 minutes of use, the ZX fires a deadly 5 meter long flame that is capable of cooking armored Stormtroopers alive.

Dur-24 Wrist Laser

Boba’s left gauntlet stores a wrist laser that combines the firepower of a standard blaster rifle with a range of fifty meters. Fett’s commonly used this after being disarmed of his other blasters.

Whipcord Launcher

A Bounty Hunter favorite, Boba’s right gauntlet can fire a thin fibercord whip that wraps around and ensnares its target, making it easier to capture them alive or stun them long enough to go in for the kill. Boba can even fry people with a Bioenergy Disrupter through the whip.

MM9 Mini Concussion Rocket Launcher

As if he didn’t have enough crap in his gauntlets, Boba also has a wrist rocket launcher in his left gauntlet that utilizes computer target tracking, ensuring that once Fett’s pressed the button, you are basically done for. The rocket types Boba uses includes the Type-12A anti-personnel rocket which is the one both Fett’s are most often seen using and Type-12B stun rockets which were a rocket dart filled with knockout gas.

Gauntlet Darts

While his father used a dart launcher on his right arm that fired Kamino saberdarts which would later bite the family in the ass, Boba would have them on both of his wrists, with the left wristlet being able to fire poison darts that can completely immobilize a target and force them to move at his command while the right would fire soporific darts. A reminder that while the dude is armed like a killing machine, he does need to bring some bounties alive.

Kneepad Rocket Dart Launcher

Another reminder that every part of Fett’s body can be used to kill you. With a range of 25-meters these kneepad launchers can fire rocket darts with explosive tips that can easily take out stormtroopers as well as darts that carry nerve toxins, molecular acid and stun agents.

Z-6 Jetpack

A model of jetpack often used by Mandalorians, the Z-6 Jetpack could hold enough fuel for one minute of continuous operation which combined with the directional thruster’s gyro-stabilizers that apply counterthrust for maneuvering and landing, gives Boba plenty of aerial mobility which is useful when taking on opponents like Jedi. To top it all off, the jetpack is even equipped with an anti-vehicle homing missile that was capable of bringing down Imperial ships. He’s even successfully used the missile on up close human targets and can cause the jetpack to self destruct by pressing a button on his gauntlet.

It is worth noting the Fett family have a history of bad luck with their jetpacks. After his own Z-6 was destroyed, Jango used a JT-12 during his time on Geonosis, which after suffering damage that left it unable to launch, failed to allow Jango escape from Windu’s attack. Meanwhile, Boba’s Z-6 was ignited when simply wacked with a stick, sending him flying to his supposed demise.

Knockout Gas

Whenever Boba needs to subdue someone and he doesn’t feel like murdering them he can knock them out with…well, knockout gas. It’s even been shown to be able to bypass gas masks.

Tracking Beacon

Boba carries around tracking beacons that he can plant on people, ensuring there will be no getting away from him. He can even cause the beacons to explode with the press of a button.

EE-3 Carbine Rifle

Boba’s most iconic weapon. The EE-3 is a blaster rifle capable of firing a three round burst at the cost of its accuracy. Boba modified his by adding a stock and a scope for shooting at a distance. If that wasn’t deadly enough it’s also been shown to be able to disintegrate people in Galaxy of Adventures.

Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster

The blaster Boba used in his first onscreen appearance The Star Wars Holiday Special…yup. While it hasn’t been shown to be able to disintegrate people like its canon version in The Mandalorian, it’s still a strong weapon that is capable of being used at a mid-range. In the special, Fett used the Amban phase-pulse to fight off a Panna Dragon that was previously unharmed by Luke’s blaster pistol.

Concussion Grenade Launcher

Fett’s been shown to carry a small grenade launcher in a holster on his hip. Despite its small size it fires powerful concussion grenades, which Boba used to blast his way out of the Sarlacc in Legends.

Blaster Pistols

When he’s not using his EE-3, Boba’s been shown carrying different types of blaster pistols on him. During his early days as a bounty hunter, he used a custom set of WESTAR-34s, the same blaster model that was used by his father. In the Holiday Special and numerous toys, he carries the Sacros K-11, also known as “The Disintegrator”. Unrelated to that gun, he also has a pistol that…disintegrates people. In his appearance in The Mandalorian, he was shown using a currently unnamed blaster model to dispatch of several Stormtroopers, later using it again in The Book of Boba Fett.

Thermal Detonator

Also known as thermal grenades, these weapons were popular among militaries and mercenaries because of their tremendous power. The grenades used adjustable time detonators making it useful as a simple thrown explosive, as traps for unknowing victims, and as a pretty sweet threatening tool against Hutts. It’s even been shown to be able to stick to targets.

Other Grenades

Aside from the iconic Thermos, Fett has also carried around flash grenades, sonic emitters powerful enough to overload PROXY, bombs that release a green substance capable of trapping those hit, and sonic disruptors capable of silencing powerful explosions allowing him to stealthily complete his missions. He’s even carried a weapon accelerator that’s able to disintegrate people (much to Vader’s annoyance).

Gaderffii Stick

After getting close to a Tusken tribe and going on a lizard induced acid trip Boba was eventually able to make a Gaffi stick of his own, which became his melee weapon of choice from then on. With it, he is capable of piercing and shattering Stormtrooper armor.

Lightsaber

It shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that the walking action figure who has used basically every weapon in the series managed to get his hand on a lightsaber too. Occasionally taking them as trophies from his Jedi kills in Legends, Fett is one of the few non-Force-sensitive people out there that is capable of using a lightsaber. Though only used as a last resort when fighting Jedi or Sith because of Boba’s only basic skill with the blade, it is still a very deadly weapon in his hands, capable of cutting through almost anything in the galaxy.

Slave-1

Being a galaxy traveling bounty hunter, Fett needed a way to track down his targets across the galaxy, and inherited this prototype Firespray Gunship from his late father. Originally a stolen vessel, it contains all manner of customizations and upgrades to make it perfect for his profession. It contains a Class 3.0 hyperdrive for interstellar travel and room to haul and transport prisoners, such as when holding a carbonite frozen Han Solo. It’s outfitted with a vast and deadly arsenal of weaponry, including two rotating blaster cannons, tractor beam projectors to grab fleeing enemies, a homing beacon scanner, proton and concussion missile launchers, and the ability to launch Seismic Charges that make the single greatest sound in the history of ever. It can also be remotely summoned via his Helmet. And suck it Disney, it’s called Slave-1 not “Firespray”.

Predator

Bio-Mask

The Bio-Mask/Helmet is one of the most infamous things about the Predators and their tech. This mask offers face protection strong enough that bullets bounces off it, has an internal holographic display and several other features primed for hunting. These include but are not limited to:

Wrist Device

Forknife

Another iconic piece of the Predator’s arsenal, while it looks small, it directly connects to Bio-Mask and Plasmacaster, and can pop out as its own phone-like device; housing a variety of advance features such as controlling their light-blending Chameleon Field which makes them seem invisible to the naked eye (also unaffected by stun batons), a computer can check system and health diagnostics, holographic projector, distress beacon, dispense syringes for extracting and analyzing DNA samples, and shoot out small homing discs for defense. It can also function as a handcuff if there's 2 of these devices and can even control the Predator’s Scouter Ship remotely.

If all else fails, the Predator can activate a self-destruct device that's also located on its wrist, to help ensure its prey goes down with it and so its tech doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. However, the Predator can use it like a grenade if it doesn’t have any more weapons left. When activated, it creates a massive explosion after a cooldown that takes seconds which takes out the Predator, its tech, and all of the area around it.

Medicomp

Versatile first aid kit used by the Yautja while on Hunts. Contains a number of surgical tools and serums such as a spray that can treat wounds from Xenomoph's acid blood and sludge that patches up wounds, allowing for a quick and efficient treatment of a wide range of injuries right on the field.

Second Wind Device

A device used in Predator Hunting Grounds. If the Predator in question is in critical condition, the device will send a jolt of energy that cauterizes all wounds while giving the hunter a burst of speed and a temporary forcefield.

Plasmacaster

One of the Predators’ more potent weapons, this shoulder-mounted cannon can automatically target prey before firing plasma bolts capable of tearing straight through flesh and even armor. On contact, the bolt of plasma will explode into smaller pieces to cause even greater damage to what was hit in the first place.

There’s also a double-barrelled version of this which can fire 2 shots at once... as expected, and an Omni-Caster version which can fire various different types of plasma such as Fire Plasma that ignites targets, and Dark Plasma which causes a controlled energy reaction that correlates its damage to the mass of a target, enabling the weapon to kill any enemy with a limited number of hits. The Predator is also capable of mounting the cannon on its wrist or turning it into a pistol should it choose to do so.

Wrist Blades

One of the more basic - yet still deadly - Yautja weapons are the Wristblades. These blades are said to be harder than diamonds, serrated and retractable, allowing for easy storage and readied availability. They can easily carve through flesh, bone, metals and even other Yautja, as well as be used as a projectile. Aside from that, it can come in plasma forged variants for more reach and can come having 1 or 3 blades instead of 2 like Wolverine!

Smart Disc

The Smart Disc is yet another of the main weapons utilized by the Yautja for long range hunting. As the name implies, they can be thrown like a disc and return to its user like a boomerang, or alternatively, have its course changed mid air due to the Predator’s tracking lasers from its Bio-Mask. If the disc gets stuck or caught, the Predator can press a button within its gauntlet to automatically bring it back. Predators such as the Disc Masters have the ability to outright control the disc with their minds, and have upgraded Nanovibronic Edged discs that can attach themselves inside of a body and shred it from the inside out.

Shuriken

Similar to the Smart Disc, these Shuriken are thrown projectiles that can expand into deadly sharp blades that are capable of slicing any oncoming target.

Energy Flechette

A short-range projectile weapon allowing the Predator shooting energy blasts out of his wrist gauntlet. Ultimately less powerful than the Plasmacaster with less range, but still powerful enough to shoot holes in Xenomorphs.

Netgun

Another staple of every hunter’s arsenal. Fires a bundled net that rapidly expands as it leaves the barrel at a high enough velocity to pin the prey to a nearby wall. Once fired, the net itself has the ability to tighten around its trapped target with sufficient force to cause the wire mesh to cut into the victim; it doesn’t help that the wire itself is so strong it can break knives.

Flamethrower

Also able to be attached onto their wrists are portable flamethrower packs, capable of briefly hurting Xenomorphs.

    Plasma Pistol

A handheld version of the Plasmacaster, either comes in a purpose-built variety or can simply be assembled in the field from a normal Plasmacaster. Typically, the former are more powerful and versatile than the latter, and would only be used as a backup to the main Plasmacaster if it has been put out of commission.

Burners

To fight efficiently against large numbers, the Predators can utilize rapid-firing plasma rifles that can blast through a Xenomorph with a single shot.

Spear Gun

Silent long-range weapon, perfect for the stealth takedowns from afar. Fires a telescoped spear with enough force to take off a man’s head or pin him to a wall and leaves no detectable phenomena at its firing point.

Grappling Gun

A special attachment to the wrist that can fire a grappling hook to scale buildings or harpoon people in for a closer kill or just kill them right there.

Laser Cannon

One big mother-effing gun that can shoot a laser powerful enough to bring down entire spaceships with a single shot.

Combistick

A retractable spear that extends by a few meters, an excellent tool for close quarters combat. It can also be used as a club, lance or throwing weapon and can even deflect blasts from Plasmacasters

Glaive

Is a long polearm weapon tipped with flat, wide blades on both ends allowing for a very elaborate and flowing fighting style, capable of slicing a human in two with a single swing. Also has the plasma variant capable of burning through the enemies armor and automatically increases its power output in proportion to the number of enemies it is striking.

Swords

Tried and true weapon of choice no matter the species or a time period. Coming in all shapes and sizes, from having a wrist guard variant resembling a folding blade to even a katana have all been in use by Yautja people for centuries.

Ceremonial Dagger

A dagger primarily used to take trophies from fallen allies but can also act as a last resort weapon.

Maul

A heavy close combat weapon, similar to tonfa in use, has various construction variants from jawbone of a large prehistoric creature with serrated edge of sharp teeth to massive weighted blade to a plasma-forged spiked one with one the only thing in common being irreparable damage to the target.

Plasma Scythe

A giant scythe with its blade being made out of Dark Plasma that’s primarily wielded by Vanguards. It’s claimed that its energy blade cannot be stopped by normal matter and triggers a controlled energy reaction which causes damage in proportion to the mass of the target.

War Club

True to its name, the War Club is a melee weapon that can be used as a blunt force weapon, but also features a retractable blade. There’s also a version with a hooked end for more damage.

Aside from the melee weapons listed above and below, Yautjas have also been shown to use battle axes, sickles, pickaxes, mallets and sledgehammers in combat before

Yautja Bow

Is a bow that’s capable of dealing massive damage to the target, pinning enemies to walls and other structures.

Whip

A segmented handheld bullwhip that wraps around a target, and once pulled taut is capable of cutting it in half. Is unaffected by Xenomorph’s acid, likely due to being made from the tail of one. These whips can also be charged with plasma too for slicing through people easier.

Electroshock Bolas

Bolas that wrap around the target once thrown and carry a powerful electrical current, which instantly kills the victim on contact.

Power Punch Glove

Is a device consisting of a metal bridge that extended on command from a Predator's wrist gauntlet to connect with "brass knuckles" worn on the hand. When activated gives the Predator a boost in punching strength enough to make a hole in solid concrete.

Plasma Grenades

Among their other explosives and handheld weapons, some Yautja carry plasma grenades. These can explode with enough force to destroy a tank and wreck parts of a surrounding town and earlier in the comic we get a better look at this town (included here for proper scale).

Spiked Grenades

A grenade in the shape of a spiked ball, powerful enough to blow up a metal door open as well as a couple Xenomorphs.

Laser Mines

A small claymore mine that can be struck to walls, activated when something or someone physical enters its lasers. There are variants that explode outright in a plasma blast.

Motion Detector

A device that when thrown at a wall or surface, sticks to it before generating a motion detection field that alerts the Predator whenever something enters the field.

Dissolving Acid

Vials of an extremely-corrosive blue dissolving liquid that the Predators’ use to eliminate evidence of aliens, powerful enough to evaporate a pool while disintegrating a Xenomorph and a human body. This can be used more offensively in the form of grenades filled with this liquid.

Heat-Based Gel

To counter opponents that don’t have a heat signature, a group of Predators developed a special gel that can allow them to see them.

Traps

As being a hunter, the Predator has several portable traps that it can deploy against opponents from net/noose traps to big alien-looking bear traps to a proximity-based sonic trap that can release big bursts of sound, etc. etc.

Drones

Numerous small drones that the Predator can carry around, these can be used to spy on opponents from afar as well as kamikaze into enemies like miniature homing missiles.

Falcon

A special drone utilized by the Falconer which is used to gather information by sending what it sees directly to the owner’s wrist device as well as being able change vision modes similar to the Bio-Mask

Tracking Device

A small device that implants itself into skin which is used when Predators want to “keep tabs on prey”.

Jamming Device

An unseen device used by a group of Predators that shuts down/jams radio, phones, the internet and other electrical systems such as a homing rocket launcher

Body Armor

While some Yautja prefers to go into battle Viking-Berserker style, most Predators wear some semblance of armor on themselves, these can vary in design but they all come with the same purpose of being durable enough to tank bullets whilst also being light enough for quick movement as well as diffusing high fall impacts. The body mesh underneath can also change temperature to adjust to the climate.

Anti-Xenomorph Armor

A special armor created from the skull and bones of a Xenomorph that not only serves as a war trophy but protection against the Alien's acid.

Phoenix Armor

Made from the hide of a Vy’drach or as the Yautja refer to them as; a Phoenix; this offers a unique resistance to fire, energy, and radiation like the Vy’drach itself. The scales of the Vy’drach also enable the Predator to recharge its energy supply when struck by fire or energy-based attacks.

Blazer Military Armor

Normally an armor only used in times of war, the Predators have access to a tactical supremacy  armor dubbed the “Blazer” that can substantially protect from kinetic, fire and acid damage. These soldiers can have up to two energy projectors on its shoulders similar to Plasmacasters, however, they are instead, arcing Inferno Beams: designed to hit as many enemies as possible with its sweeping motion and can reach temperatures that are hotter than many stars at their core. This works by heating up the target to the point they spontaneously combust.

Hydra Military Armor

Similar to the Blazer, this Hydra Military Armor used during war times is highly durable against kinetic, fire and acid attacks, and comes equipped with a guided Electroshock Missile Battery which homes onto foes within a 360 degree arc and can target numerous of them with armor-penetrating electroshock plasma warheads which are designed to take out cloak detectors. This can all come together for a devastating full-scale Warhead Swarm in which a missile can check to see whether other enemies are within range of its warheads, if so, the missile can split into as many as three separate sub-missiles

Vanguard Armor

Armor given only to the very best of the best. What makes it different from the other armors is its unique defensive system; the Killscreen Generator. This generator emits unstable streams of dark plasma particles that vaporizes incoming enemy projectiles from sniper rounds to missiles. However, it can only vaporize so much mass per unit time, therefore, multi-projectile or/and rapid-fire weapons such as shotguns and machine guns can bypass this defense, energy-based attacks also bypass it.

Scout Ship

Small Yautja spacecraft, designed for hunters; its fish-like appearance helps with the cloaking and is capable of Deep Space travel through lightspeed flight. To get hunting parties down to the planet’s surface they utilize smaller Drop Pods that sometimes carry a number of facehuggers for "seeding" other planets or for experimentation. For defense it comes armed with a electroshock defense system, forcefield and some sort of plasma cannons that’s capable of mowing down groups of Xenomorphs, taking down entire buildings to an entire space station. But by far the most devastating function of the ship is its self-detonation which can level an entire human city and can be remotely activated from the Predator’s wrist device.

Abilities

Boba Fett

Hand-to-Hand Combat

Boba has been trained in hand-to-hand by multiple people across his life, from his father Jango to the Tusken Raiders who had taught him how to wield a Gaffi Stick. It was these skills that allowed him to make short work of a platoon of stormtroopers using nothing more than a Gaffi Stick, he was even able to outsmart and kill his former mentor Cad Bane with the weapon. In Legends, he’s even been stated to have mastered every weapon in the galaxy besides a lightsaber.

Skilled Marksman

Even as a child Boba could handle a blaster better than most, largely thanks to both his training under Jango and being a clone of him, he even later received training from Aurra Sing, one of the best snipers in the galaxy. His marksman skills are so great that he’s been shown multiple times to be able to shoot someone’s blaster out of their own hand. Whether it be sniping from afar or filling groups of close enemies with blaster holes, Boba’s aim is certainly not to be underestimated.

Hunting Skill

Even with Fett’s arsenal and training making him a whole new meaning of deadly, Boba would never have gotten the reputation he has without his exceptional hunting and tracking skills. When he was as young as 13 his tracking skills had impressed Obi-Wan and later on his career he was able to relentlessly pursue Jedi Apprentice Jaden Korr on Ord Mantell. Not to mention out of all the expert bounty hunters Vader had called in to capture Han, Boba was the one who was able to track him down.

Telepathy Resistance

Boba Fett has resisted the effects of Force mind attacks from the likes of Darth Vader on more than one occasion. This has kept him safely in control of his own mind and enabled him to not let Vader gain a significant edge when in combat or even simpler matters like discussing payments.

Predator

Yautja Physiology

As descendants of a genetically modified slave race, Yautja have some physiological advantages over other species such as being naturally stronger, faster, more durable and can jump higher than humans, see in infrared as well as possessing a minor healing factor that allows it to heal broken ribs in around a day and having the ability stop their own pulse, heartbeat and respiration

They can survive in places as cold as the Arctic to as hot as the deserts of their home planet as well as breath on toxic planets and in high methane-content atmospheres. Their blood is also  luminescent neon green and, in Predator: Concrete Jungle, was somehow capable of extending the life of humans it came into contact with.

Isolation Pulse

A special ability shown in Predator Hunting Grounds, where the Predator emits a pulse from its body that immediately tracks and highlights the location of its prey. Can be countered by the victim(s) by lowering their body temperature.

Feats

Weaknesses

Boba Fett

The very existence of Sarlacc Pits should do the trick. Besides those rather inconveniently placed holes with mouths, Boba Fett is by no means invincible. For one thing he is not able to tap into the Force like other warriors in the galaxy can, and he must rely on his abundant weapons stock and strategy to secure his victories over such opponents. Well placed attacks can also potentially cause malfunctions with his equipment, most infamously with his jetpack.

Predator

Despite the impressive gear the Yautja boosts, it is far from perfect. For example his cloaking system can be seen up close and tracked with night vision, it also disrupts when in contact with water or even when struck with enough force. While both the Self-Destruct bomb and Killscreen Generator are devasting weapons in their own right, the latter can be bypassed by weapons that are energy based or have high rates of fire and former can be disabled if the circuity gets cut. And due to evolving in a different ecosystem, they function in oxygen-rich atmospheres with greater difficulty without a Bio-Mask.

Summary

Boba Fett

“You can run, but you’ll only die tired.”

Advantages:

  • Holds the edge in the stat trinity

  • Strongest weapons are more destructive than anything in Predator’s kit bar the self destruct

  • More mobility with his jetpack

Disadvantages:

  • Far less experience

  • Jammers and electroshock missiles can possibly knock out his ability to scan and track

  • Stealth attempts are ineffective

  • Fell into a giant sand vagina twice in Legends

Predator

"There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man. We're all gonna die"

Advantages:

  • Generations of experience

  • Better and more varied list of weapons

  • Jammers and electroshock missiles can possibly knock out Boba’s scanning, tracking, and targeting systems

  • Bio-mask features counter any attempt at stealth

  • Certain gear can still take out Boba despite the stat difference

Disadvantages:

  • Beat out in the stat trinity

  • Arsenal is overall less powerful

  • Less mobility

Stats

Beginning with speed since that's probably the most clear-cut category here, Boba and other non-force users have consistently managed to match force users in speed. Obi-Wan, whom Boba and his father have fought, has a nanosecond reaction feat that gets 3.33c. It is also worth noting that blaster bolts in the EU have many statements of being lightspeed and Boba has been able to dodge them on plenty of occasions. Predator is a bit weirder, while there are plenty of bullet-dodging feats from the Yautja, the best speed feat from them is unquantifiably relativistic from them being able to dodge blasts described as lasers.  While this does make it so the gap in speed won't be so great that Boba would blitz, Fett would still have a very good speed advantage.

In terms of physical stats, Boba was able to damage Beilert Valance who could survive a Thermal Detonator blowing up point-blank, a feat which is quite impressive considering how 13 Thermos were able to destroy a Geonosian bridge, with a single grenade being worth 23.96 tons of TNT. With Predator, one of the more blatant durability feats would be Scarface surviving a 57 ton explosion. This might appear to beat out Boba at first glance, but that's without taking into account just how far Scarface was from the epicenter of the explosion, which would drastically lower the result of the feat.

Interestingly enough, despite this, both Fett and Predator likely get higher numbers thanks to them being able to survive being next to their stronger weapons going off. Boba's jetpack missiles are capable of bringing down Transport Ships and Gauntlet starfighters, the latter of which can survive being hit by meteors, something worth 3.95-7.91 megatons, and Boba was able to survive his jetpack exploding with its missile included. Meanwhile, the Predator could scale to Raphael Herrera, who survived being decently close to a self-destruct explosion. One of the self-destructs was even compared to a small nuke and got 873.5 kilotons of TNT, surprisingly lower than what the jetpack missile was capable of.

It is worth noting though, that the strongest Predator self-destruct we've ever seen far eclipses either hunter's physical stats. An ancient Predator’s self-destruct was capable of creating an explosion visible from space (318.519 gigatons of TNT) even if Beskar could survive an attack that powerful it wouldn't be able to fully protect the man inside. So should the Predator be equipped with the ancient Predator’s self-destruct they would have the potential to hit a lot harder than Boba even if it would certainly take the Yautja out as well.

Aside from that though, Boba should take the edge in strength and dura as well as have a comfortable speed advantage on the Predator.

Arsenal

It’s no secret that both these bastards are veritable walking arsenals. Both carry an unreal amount of weaponry, each designed to murder in different, horrifying ways. So let’s start off simple. Can Boba see the Predator through the cloaking? As it turns out, yes. While it varies between Predators, typically speaking, the cloak works via bending light, rendering the Yautja using it invisible to the naked eye. However, Boba’s eyes are not naked. His scanners can detect things within the infrared spectrum, so any attempt at stealth from the Predator is moot. As for the opposite, Boba typically relies on cover and the like, which Predator can see through very easily. Stealth is very much not an option in this fight, meaning both will have to rely on their deadlier equipment. In this scenario, many of Boba’s options seem to be outclassed. While Boba has various guns, grenades and missiles, Predator’s equipment varies from plasma glaves, a giantass fist, acid grenades that chew through metal, drones up the dick, and even various military grade armors with even crazier arsenals.

However, most if not all of these options fall very short compared to Boba’s in consistency and ESPECIALLY in comparison to Boba’s Beskar Armor. Plasma weaponry? Beskar takes hits from lightsabers on a daily basis. Power fist? Boba can keep the Predator at bay easily with his maneuverability and jetpack. Acid grenades? “Lol.” said the Beskar Armor, surviving the stomach acid of the Sarlacc, potent enough to melt flesh into the lining of the stomach. “Lmao.” Drones? Boba has scanners able to detect them, and then it's just a matter of picking them off one by one, which, given the speed gap, Boba is more than capable of doing. Meanwhile, while the armors could be potentially game changing, the issue is commitment. Boba’s armor is a catch-all walking armada of weaponry with enough durability that 90% of Preddy’s arsenal is bouncing off harmlessly. Predator’s best armors are military grade, and would need to be manually equipped and changed into. Great if the Predator is starting out in them, not so great if the Predator is actively being hunted and needs to adapt on the fly. He’s not Tony Stark, after all (though an Iron Man Yautja would be sick.)

So here’s the million dollar question, can Boba deal with the Predator’s self-destruct? As it turns out, yes. Devil’s in the details here. While the self-destruct is without a doubt, the most powerful thing in either’s armory, the issues lie in actually getting it off. While yes, Predator can throw it, it isn’t necessarily in character to do so, and it can only do so much against Boba, who can just as easily call the Slave 1 and dip before it goes off. That is also if it goes off. The Predator needs to activate the self-destruct, and if the arm gets cut off, the self-destruct seems to automatically deactivate (weird but yeah.) With Boba’s speed advantage and no-nonsense attitude, nothing is stopping Boba from simply shooting the Predator dead the moment he starts fiddling with his wristwatch, and even assuming it gets the chance to go off, Boba is by no means a sitting duck.

To summarize these points, on paper, much of Predator’s arsenal seems to be far better than anything Boba has, but Boba’s are far more consistent at doing their job, and his armor and skills counter several of Predator’s crazier advantages. Boba is taking this advantage.

Abilities and Skills

Any way you slice it, saying Boba Fett beats out Predator in the field of experience simply isn’t going to work out. Given the enormous life-span of veteran Predators, there is simply no way Fett can keep up in this particular field. However, experience is not the only factor of this fight, and Fett is perfectly capable of compensating for this disadvantage.

While Predator certainly has more battles on its record and more kills, it is incredibly unlikely that the targets Predator has done battle with can compare to the warriors Fett has fought and defeated in his years as a hunter and Mandalore. The Jedi ranks are capable of feats that dwarfs the forces Predator has killed, and while it is unlikely Fett can scale to the power of these fighters, dealing with them so often still proves he can hold his own against foes much more powerful than what Predator has faced. Even against the likes of Darth Vader himself Fett fought twice and survived, technically winning one of their two duels as well. He’s gone on to train a Jedi himself and is one of the most notable practitioners of Mandalorian combat. Predator might have the edge in experience, but it is very unlikely it can match Fett in raw skill and notable duels.

Fett’s intelligence and sheer determination are also very notable threats to the Predator as well, with them being two of the most notable traits that enabled Fett to exchange blows with forces leagues more powerful than him and come out the victor so often. Fett is notorious for persisting against even the most impossible odds, continuing to fight even within the depths of a Sarlacc Pit and tracking down the most well hidden criminals in the galaxy no matter how long it takes. He is also incredibly quick minded, coming up with ways to change a scenario to his advantage spur of the moment, taking foes by surprise and getting out of bad situations. It is very likely that Fett could find ways to get out of any bad scenario Predator puts him in, and will likely be able to come up with ways to handle the self-destruct device as well should Predator resort to it.

Overall, the Predator completely dominates the field of experience, but Fett’s victories have been against far more impressive foes and he is likely just as skilled, if not more. Combined with Boba Fett’s intelligence and craftiness, he can likely control the fight the majority of the time and operate however he sees as needed to win the day.

Conclusion

In the end, this isn’t a straight clear cut fight. The Predator clearly has advantages over Boba, with the most clear one being experience. However, this is just one small advantage the Predator takes over the bounty hunter. Boba takes all the other aspects clearly, ones with difficulty, ones without it.

The most important one being arsenal. While the Predator is definitely a formidable foe in terms of this, Boba’s arsenal takes the close edge, with the highlight of it being his Beskar Armor which makes him resist and counter practically most of Predator’s own arsenal. Heck, Boba even has ways to counter the Self-Destruct from the Predator, arguably the strongest thing in arsenal in between these two. And with Boba’s own arsenal, he has more than enough opportunities to get a hand out of the Predator and give him a killing blow, considering Boba is clearly faster than him as well, and that many of his own gadgets are far stronger than anything the Predator has experienced yet, Boba has a clear shot at taking the big W. And plus, Boba overall has resisted things far higher than the Predator in the first place, like his jetpack exploding with him with everything and missile. Of course however that AP isn’t also as clear cut for Boba since Predator may take the advantage with an ancient Predator Self-Destruct, but other than that, Boba can take strength, speed, and durability pretty well. And with other misc aspects, Boba has the intelligence to clearly outsmart the Predator, despite the fight being unable to happen in stealth at any costs since they both counteract their stealth attempts with their arsenal, but Boba has been seen doing quick and useful improvisations with the environment. Plus, Predator’s hunted pray doesn’t compare to some of the foes Boba has faced, of which comes Darth Fucking Vader.

So in the end, Boba won’t be falling into another Sarlacc Pit, but instead, he’ll take another bounty in the composite intergalactic Yautja.

Team Predator

Stats

In terms of stats, the most important thing to look at is the destructive capability of Predator’s suicide bomb and compare that to Boba’s durability. Due to the fact that Predators can just pull it off their wrist and toss it out like a grenade, it means that it is very possible that Predators can use it and not die from it.

As shown earlier, the suicide bomb has numerous impressive feats. On the more low end - the bomb has been shown being able to destroy enough rainforest to cover 300 city blocks which was calced agt 69 kilotons of TNT. This is a lower-end feat of what the bomb as it has been shown to be able to destroy enough rock to make a crater a quarter mile wide and was compared to a small nuke which was calced at 873.5 kilotons of TNT. The very high feat is the the ancient Predator suicide bomb which can create a blast that can seen from space (318.519 gigatons of TNT). However, it could be argued that using the ancient Predator feat is sketchy in that ancient Predators have different arsenals to standard Predators.

The best Boba feat we can use in order to figure out Boba’s durability is the time that Boba tanked his jetpack exploding (including the missile). While it is an impressive explosion - it is dubious if you could scale Boba’s Durability to the Missile’s explosiveness considering he set the Jetpack itself to explode, not just the missile especially considering the fact that the explosion while looking impressive is not that big. Even looking at other durability feats such as the Thermal Detonator - it doesn’t look like Boba was directly in the core blast and even it was - the best Thermal Detonators can get to is destroying Buildings, far less then Predator’s bomb feat

In Speed, both have shown laser dodging feats with Predator having dodged blasts described as "lasers" and firing "flashes of light" as well as keep up with its own Sonic Trap, which shoots out multi spectrum light. This would give the Predator FTL reaction speed. Boba is also comparable as he has shown to be easily capable of dodging blaster shots which have many statements of being lightspeed as well as scaling to characters who can react in the microseconds such as IQ-8 who can  perceive within Microseconds and deflected a blaster bolt after it was fired. It would be fair to argue that both have comparable speed having reacted to lightspeed attacks.

So at the end of the day, Predator has destructive capability in the bag and both are comparable to speed on each other. If Boba had the durability in order to survive Predator’s bomb then this would be an entirely different story but Boba has never shown durability feats close to what the bomb can dish out (no he doesn’t scale in DC,Durability to Jedi - only speed) and considering how both are comparable in speed, then Predator just needs to use it once and live it (which is very possible since he can set it on a timer and its GG to the Predator.

Arsenal

When it comes to breadth of options, it’s clear that the Predator simply has Boba Fett beat. One only needs to look at the above equipment section to get a sense of the disparity. Boba is loaded with explosives like missiles and thermal detonators, has a couple melee weapons (most notably the lightsaber), and of course has his various blasters. Most of his weapons, however, end up doing the same kind of things - the Predator, on the other hand, has tons of different varied ways of dealing damage. Anything Boba Fett has, Predator has his own, sometimes superior version, except for maybe the lightsaber - but even then, you could argue that some of his plasma charged weapons could be seen as similar. There’s no point dwelling on the obvious Yautja weapons like the wrist blades or combi-stick, so let’s get into the nicher advantages Predator’s arsenal has.

While Boba potentially has a speed advantage, several of Predator’s weapons like the mini drones, the Falcon drone, or the remote controlled smart disc can be operated remotely. Even if Boba could deal with those weapons quickly, it could still lead to a valuable opening for the Predator, letting them strike with any of their more fatal options. It also lets Predator attack from multiple angles, giving him a good way to possibly disable Boba’s jetpack - one of his major advantages in the fight. And it’s incredibly likely the Predator could disrupt the jetpack and make it malfunction, given that a blind, weakened Han Solo was able to do it accidentally with a pole. Even the incredibly powerful scout ship can be operated remotely, though you can argue the same for Boba’s ship.

Of particular note are the Predator’s weapons that utilize dark plasma, which can be argued to bypass conventional durability. It’s described as being able to “trigger a controlled energy reaction that correlates its damage to the mass of a target upon hit,” which allows it to defeat any enemy in a limited number of shots. While the logic behind this explanation is somewhat strange, it’s clear that the intention is supposed to be that it can surpass normal resistances.

There’s also the Predator’s acid grenades, another option that can make it past Boba’s durability. While he wears clothing that is “acid resistant,” that doesn’t mean he’s acid proof (like how parkas are cold resistant yet can’t keep you from being frozen alive by Samus’s ice beam, thanks 2011 Wiz). In both canons, he was very much damaged by the Sarlacc’s stomach acid, which is actually provably weaker than the Predator’s acid grenades. The Sarlacc slowly digests its victims over thousands of years, while the Predator’s acid can quickly dissolve bodies, even Xenomorphs, who themselves have acid for blood. Boba’s experience in the Sarlacc just isn’t comparable: multiple sources stress how slow the digestion process is for Sarlaccs and how hellish the experience was for Boba, and while some give justifications to the Sarlacc’s slow digestive cycle, that just shows how the Predator’s acid and the Sarlacc’s acid are two different kinds of damage. Trying to extrapolate Boba’s feat of surviving the Sarlacc’s specifically adapted stomach acid to say he’d be immune to the Predator’s acid grenades is… well, it’s a lacking argument.

There’s also the different military armors, all of which bring counters to Boba’s offense in different ways: the Phoenix armor protects against his flamethrower and blasters by absorbing the energy for more charge, the Blazer armor protects against fire and acid and comes equipped with sweeping lasers hotter than stars, the Hydra armor protects against the same but instead has EMP missiles that could shut down Boba’s gear, and the Vanguard armor has a dark plasma defense system that could nullify many of the Mandalorian’s non-blaster projectiles before they got close. Of course, the main argument against these armors is that they’re “non-standard,” but given that a composite Predator is being used, that’s basically irrelevant. Sure, any random Predator wouldn’t be bringing this kind of stuff on a hunt. But in Death Battle, when a “peak” Predator is being looked at, this equipment should be factored in.

Even without these armors, some of the advantages they can grant can also come from other pieces of Yautja equipment. The jammer in particular could hypothetically shut down much of Boba’s equipment - it works against a homing missile launcher because it uses a processor, and at least some of Boba’s space age weaponry certainly should have processors in them, given what we’ve seen them do. And as for Boba’s few non-explosive or heat-based weapons, specifically his acid darts, Predators carry with them medical equipment that can treat wounds from the acidic blood of Xenomorphs.

Finally, there’s the big gun; the self-destruct device, the one thing everyone agrees could definitely take down Boba in a single shot. Which actually isn’t a self-destruct device, since Predators can just pull it off their wrist and toss it out like a grenade. Sure, it has a timer, but since the yield of the bomb can seemingly be adjusted - sometimes it disintegrates just the Predator, other times it results in a massive kaboom that can be seen several zipcodes away - it stands to reason that the countdown time could potentially be adjusted. Like in the instance where the Predator threw it out as a grenade, several seconds clearly didn’t pass there between activation and detonation. Still, you could argue that the Predator would get caught in the blast too if it did something like that. Sure, that’s an argument, but you could also just say that the Predator would take it off and use it to kill Boba after incapacitating him through one of the methods mentioned above: dark plasma or the acid grenades.

To summarize: Predator has a far wider arsenal with various ways to take down Boba Fett, despite his armor and durability. Even if he’s eked out in raw power, his versatility makes him more than a match. On top of that, he has potential ways to negate Boba’s weaponry, rendering that raw power advantage moot.

Abilities and Skills

It should come as no surprise that the Predator completely outclasses Fett in skill and experience. The discussion then becomes if Fett’s adaptability and tech can make up the difference.

Yautja are no strangers to the weaponry Fett possesses, given their time fighting Colonial Marines, and even themselves. The marines have advanced weaponry, not too far off from Boba’s era. More important though, is the Yautja race’s own adaptability. Elite Predators have shown to adapt to dangerous elements in combat on the fly, whether it be fighting other Elite Predators, the Xenomorphs, or Marines.

Yautja have also shown the ability to keep fighting even with fatal wounds. With the Predator’s level of tenacity, Boba will find it difficult to capitalize using his own skills while also having to deal with the Predator’s brutal martial skill.

The Predator is also a master of using the environment against its foes. Whether it be a tropical forest, a busy city, or even a pyramid, the enhanced senses of a Yautja combined with physical prowess leave no area a safe zone for Boba in this fight.

While Fett is indeed experienced even against Jedi, he is fighting the master of his own craft. Fett’s own accolades in regards to dealing with Jedi or even bounty hunters is perhaps a bit overblown, as he has been defeated by far less skilled opponents taking advantage of his inability to monitor all of his surroundings. Such a flaw would be fatal against the Predator, with its superior hunting skill and awareness.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Predator has the clear technology advantage over Boba and has the destructive capability to one shot him. Granted, most of his techology isn’t as powerful as the bomb but that tech is still far more impressive then Boba’s tech. Plus most Predators have millions of years of combat experience and technology when compared to Boba. It is not a one-sided stomp but overall the Predator’s experience, tech and destructive force win this bout.

Just Before We Go

And that’s the first half of DEATH BATTLE Season 9…well sorta of. At RTX it was announced we will be getting an Episode 8.5 - Excalibur (Warframe) vs Raiden (Metal Gear). Let’s just get this out of the way - no we won’t be doing a prediction blog on it. The reason for that is rather simple, it is set to air in one week - we 100% wouldn’t have the time in order to go over everything Warframe related - Metal Gear maybe but likely not Warframe. We tried doing that with the Boys BR and we ultimately canceled that blog due to time reasons. As such we won’t be doing a blog on the matchup. However, we will be doing a blog on the other fight that was teased (just not till September).

We will still produce content over the summer as we have done in the last couple of matchups - we will be making mid-season prediction blogs over the course of the summer covering 5 different matchups. As for what those matchups are…well

    1. That would be me ^-^ Especially for Bradley VS Solidus, that's a matchup I especially favor (and have debated online).

    2. I know the first verdicts are probably already done (or close to it) and ready to be submitted on the 17th, but I would like to present my arguments for what seems to be the first one - Bradley VS Solidus, and why Solidus ought to win:
      https://www.reddit.com/r/DeathBattleMatchups/comments/p18w42/king_bradley_vs_solidus_snake_fullmetal_alchemist/hkmrb3a/?context=8&depth=9
TL;DR Solidus is plenty times faster and his exo-suit canonically negates precognition similar to the Ultimate Eye, along with his HF Blades explicitly ignoring durability like Bradley's (along with any and all of Bradley's weapons).

For most of the other matchups, I have some idea of who could win (betting Vader, Korosensei, and Yugi to win), but the only one I don't know is Gojo VS Makima because to be honest I have no knowledge of either of them or their respective franchises, so I can't say who wins until their blog is out.

King Bradley (Fullmetal Alchemist) VS Solidus Snake (Metal Gear)
Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars) VS Obito Uchiha (Naruto)
Monokuma (Danganronpa) VS Korosensei (Assassination Classroom)
Ash Ketchum (Pokemon) VS Yugi Muto (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
